This Monday, Boyle faced up against Green County, a team that was 11-5 and on a 3 game winning streak. Boyle was 13-6 at the time. Boyle pitched Josh Cool for 6 innings, with Brayson Claunch closing out the game.
Green County came out very hot scoring 2 runs in the first, but Boyle pulled one run back in the 2nd inning. Green County stayed hot though scoring 1 run in the fourth and 2 in the sixth. Boyle County scored 2 in the 7th to start a comeback, but it was too little too late and Boyle lost the game.
