Rebels fly away with the win!

On Friday, the rebels made it through the state semi-final by beating the Franklin County Flyers.

Like Boyle, Franklin County was one of the only undefeated teams in the state. The final score ended up 41-14. This score was misleading though, because it was a real battle of a game.

In the end, all that mattered was that Boyle came out on top and now they will be playing at Kroger Field this Friday.

Avery Bodner gave a miraculous performance with three rushing touchdowns and 150 rushing yards. As always, Montavin Quisenberry had a great game as well. He achieved 2 rushing touchdowns with 95 rushing yards and 75 receiving yards.

“We’re a family,” said linebacker Gage Feltner. “We don’t just play with each other, we play for each other. I have been blessed to win one championship since I’ve been at Boyle. I can’t wait to do it again!”

This was a good win for the Rebels and a great way to keep our season alive. Show out next week vs Covington Catholic. This will be the State Championship at Kroger Field. Boyle is up for the chance to win four championships in a row!
