The Rebels played their 12th Region semifinals against East Jessamine at West Jessamine on Thursday night.
The girls kept a clean sheet the entire time, certainly a powerful way to make it to the awaited finals. With goals from Reagan Britt (3), Maggie Burke (2), Addison Hazlett (2), Mia Kilby (1), Ellie Kendrick (1) and Ellery Taylor (1), the girls exhibited a,”Solid offensive performance,” says senior Payton Bugg. As for the clean sheet, Bugg says, “Our defense did their job to keep them from scoring.”
Our girls have come a long way. This important victory is the last step needed to play in the much-anticipated finals.
The girls will face West Jessamine on Saturday afternoon.
