This past Friday Boyle took on our cross-town rivals, the Danville Admirals. Last week at the school was “Rivalry Week”. After big wins from the boys and girls soccer team, we finished the week with bang at Admiral Stadium. The Rebs ended the game with a huge win of 56-0.
According to Keenan Stewart, “It felt good to beat our cross-town rivals.”
Sage Dawson led the pack going 7 for 8 with 127 passing yards and a touchdown. He is followed by Avery Bodner with 5 rushing attempts and 3 touchdowns. At Halftime the score was 48-0 and the Admirals had a net of 5 offensive yards. During the second half, much of the Junior Varsity team got their chance on the field and was able to put up two more on the Ads, giving great experience to the future of our football program.
Coming up this week, the Rebels prepare for a much more grueling Top Ten opponent, Scott County. Show out and support this Friday night at 7:30!
