On Thursday, the Boyle County boys soccer team played against the Danville admirals at Rebel Stadium.
Boyle County entered the game with a comeback record of 4-5, despite losing their first 5 games. The Admirals entered the game at 3-3-2, looking to get their first win over Boyle since 2019.
Junior goalkeeper McClain Denny made some crucial saves on the way to his 25th career shutout. When asked about the team’s performance he said, “I am happy with how we played and I’m excited for our upcoming games.”
The Rebels sit on a 5 game win streak and will look to continue this hot streak going into the 2A state semifinal against Desales.
