Last Friday, the Rebels were defeated by Bardstown, on the road. The final score was 32-60. This was the last regular season game for the Rebels, giving them a loss going into playoffs.
The team’s leading scorer on the night was 8th grader, Addison Yates. She finished the night with 12 total points, all coming off three-pointers. Yates has made a big impact this year from beyond the arc. She is the team’s top three point shooter and a top scorer.
In a brief interview, Yates states, “It always sucks to take a los, especially going into the playoffs. With that being said we must put it behind us and get ready to beat the Admirals. ”
On Tuesday the girls will play Danville in the second round of the 45th District Tournament.
