On Friday, the Rebels defeated Garrard County, for the second time this season. The final score was 74-56. Giving the girls an 18 point win over the Lions.
The team’s leading scorer on the night was Senior Payton Bugg. She finished the night with 23 total points and went 9/9 from the free throw line. Payton’s sister, Kennedy Bugg, had a great game as well for the Rebs. She had a season high 15 points and 10 rebounds.
In a short interview, senior Payton Bugg states, “This team has such a great bond and so much leadership.”
The Girls will play again Tuesday night vs West Jessamine at home.
