We have major event updates from our Rollin’ Rebels from the past 2 weeks!
Last Wednesday, the girls as a team were crowned region champions! After the single qualifying games they positioned themselves in second place and later defeated Corbin 3-0 in the elimination round. The third round was a breeze once again, taking Madison Southern down 3-0. Semifinals rolled around and the girls did not slow down, taking another 3-0 win against Fleming County. They concluded the tournament with a perfect run, earning a 3-0 score against Johnson Central. An exciting day for our girls. They are state-bound once again!!
Trailing along in their regional competition, our boys fought hard in their final against Jonhson Central, taking a tough defeat of 6-5. With a second-place position, our boys were regional runner-ups and will be competing in state as well.
Both boys and girls had an outstanding performance in their Region 8 Single Games. Our qualifiers for singles state completion are: Shelbi Webb, Emma Kondik, Peyton Ramey, Nicholas Jayne and Cody Kondik.
