Last Saturday, the Boyle County Marching Rebels competed in the KMEA Regionals. After placing well in the Ohio State Competition, they were very excited.
In Ohio, the Marching Rebels placed third out of eight in their class. The had the best visual effect and best color guard in their class. Overall, they placed eleventh out of forty-six bands.
Unfortunately for the Marching Rebels, Regionals did not go as well. Despite the anticipation coming into the competition, they did not make it past the first round to semi-finals. Camilla Clay, a junior, said, “…no one really expected it.”
With that, the Marching Rebels wrap up their season. Best of luck next year, Rebels!
