This past Monday, our girls soccer team played Pulaski at West Jessamine for the first round of regions. The girls came out strong and fast, ready to win. The mentality was there, the aggression was there.
The Lady Maroons didn’t know what to expect when they came face to face with our girls. The game was over before we knew it. The final score was 10-0, and our girls showed no mercy.
“We played a great game, everyone played their best and made great dissensions on the field,” said sophomore Ellery Taylor. “We dominated the field with great passes and good opportunities to finish, and we did. I’m proud of my team.”
The girls will play again on Saturday in the region championship match against West Jessamine. Best of luck to the girls for a win to get that region title! We hope they can make it back quickly and look forward to celebrating with them at the homecoming dance later that day!
