The Volleyball Team Fights in a Close Match Against Trinity Christian.

The volleyball team faced off against Trinity Christian last night at home. They fought hard, but the odds weren’t in their favor.

The Rebels knew that Trinity Christian would be some tough competition but they came out ready to fight. They battled hard in the first set and took the victory by 4 points. However, they couldn’t continue the streak when they lost the second set 17-25.

They were looking for another win going into the third set and ended up winning 25-15. Their hard work just wasn’t enough in the fourth when they lost 25-21.

The game came to a 5th and final set. The Rebels needed this set to win the game. They fought hard and rallied against this tough team but fell short 15-13.

“We went up against one of the top teams in the twelfth region,” head Coach, Eric Kenoyer, states. “Currently they are second. Both teams played incredibly. Back and forth all night. It was one of our more efficient nights on offense and our defense was relentless. I love our mental toughness and the way we fought until the last point. We handled their strong serves and dynamic offense. It was truly a fun night.”

The Rebels play again tonight and tomorrow at the Woodford County Invitational! Good luck ladies!!!
