Bounce Back For Esports!

Starting off their week with some tough losses in Smash Bros, Mario Kart, and League of Legends, the Rebels made sure to bounce back when it came to Rocket League.

Playing League of Legends on Tuesday, Esports took a tough loss to Dupont Manual 2-0.  A

fter that, the Rebels came back again Wednesday to play Smash Bros. Taking another tough loss to Butler Traditional 3-2.

On Thursday, the Rebels first played Mario Kart and Lost to Breathitt 2-0. However, after a rough week, Esports really showed up for Rocket League winning 3-0, and dominating Warren Southern.

When it came to Rocket League, Coach Laymon said, ¨They killed it. Won the 3 matches 7-0, 7-0, and 11-0.” What a great way to come back and end the week on a high note!

Esports will come back again next week to play on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

E-sports Smashes Competition in Smash Bros. and Rocket League for their First Week!

Last week, E-sports started off their first match of 3 against Whitley County playing League of Legends. This match ended with a tough 2-0 loss. Not taking that loss lightly over the next two matches they picked up a 2-0 win at Smash Bros. against Lakeview and a 3-0 win at Rocket League.

Junior Smash Bros. E-sports player Alex Toth said, “The first match we were really on top of the game.” Further, “The second we had a couple shaky moments but overall we continued to play well.”

E-sports looks to find similar results like these in the next coming weeks and their upcoming matches against Dupont Manual and Butler Traditional.
