Clutch Win For The Rebels

This past Saturday, the Boyle County wrestling team played in the Big Brother Duels hosted at Boyle County against 18 high schools teams throughout the state .

Jackson Burger closed the day with a clutch pin to put the wrestling team back in the running, and to leave Paul McClure with a chance to get a pin to secure a win over Oldham County. To say exciting would be an understatement for the tournament.

After getting asked about, what was going through his head when it was up to him to secure the last point to win the tournament, Paul said, “I obviously knew it was possible after watching Jackson Burger get a huge  pin at 215 but I was just out there wrestling and it worked out”.

The Rebels will wrestle again in the Taylor County Clash this Saturday.
