Over the past couple of months, the academic team has been competing in the Lake Cumberland League Tournament.
The team performed really well, placing 2nd out of 14 teams. Their highest placement was in the Future Problem Solving category, in which Boyle took first place. Individually, many competitors received recognition for testing or other awards.
Micah Brown finished 2nd in math, Luisa Sanchez finished 3rd in composition, Jacob Kirchner won MVP and got on the All-League team with Daniel Leber.
The team went 12-0 during the tournament! Their next competition is the Icequickle Tournament which will be held on January 6th.
