Boyle County Girls Soccer finishes out their history-making season!

Last Thursday, the girls soccer team played Bethlehem at Lafayette High School in the final four round. The girls came out fast and fired up, the game between these two teams shaping up to be a battle.

The girls fought hard while the fans were yelling and screaming “GO REBELS.” They possessed the ball well in the first 30 minutes with crisp passes, sharp runs, and a determination to win.

It was a clash between two unstoppable forces, but Bethlehem got the better side of things as they scored off a counterattack and pursued the win. Our Girls held their heads high to try and win it back, but Bethlehem took control of the game and scored again. During the second half we pushed for a goal to get back at them. We were close but The Lady Banshees scored off a corner kick and made it 3-0.

This season was a “Magical run with an amazing group of girls, but we’re not finished,” says Coach Deem, already looking forward to next year!

Congratulations to the girls soccer team for making school history and going to the final four.
