Rebels Take Down the Patriots

The Boyle County volleyball team took on an energetic Lincoln County team in Rebel Arena on Monday. Lincoln County came in with a very inspired group, and Boyle County needed to respond.

However, the Rebels certainly responded well. Boyle rallied to win some incredibly close sets, 25-23, 25-22, and 25-20 to take home a gusty win. They didn’t have too much time to celebrate, though, because they knew that DCA was the next night.

Setter Emma Young added that, “we played very well tonight, and we need to bring our A-game to DCA tomorrow.” Gracee Teague and Emma Young had 24 and 22 sets, respectively. Kendra Christopher had an incredible game, with a whopping 23 kills!
