Spectaular View at the Capitol Classic!!

A great performance by our boys and girls cross country teams this past weekend at the Captiol View Classic in Frankfort. Our boys team took 3rd place and our girls team took 2nd Place.

Sophomore Aubrey White placed 6th with an outstanding time of 23:19.28 earning the team 4 points. Eighth grader Izzy Phillips took 10th place with a time of 24:27.62, a very impressive performance and we can’t wait to see what she does the rest of this season!

Senior Max Germann took 3rd place with an overwhelming time of 17:24.53 earning the team 3 points. Senior Diego Montoya took 12th place with a time of 19:07.98, earning the team 10 points. Both Diego and Max have consistently run outstanding times this season, we can’t wait to see how they’ll lead the team to victory this year!

Our running rebels will be back on September 23 with the Bluegrass Invitational in Lexington!!

Running Rebels Exceed Expectations!

On Saturday, our running Rebels competed in the West Jessamine Invite at Asbury. Both our boys and girls performed very well!

Once again, Max Germann exceeded all expectations and came in 7th place with a time of 16:37!!! And for the girls, seventh Grader Siddalea Gray came in 25th with a time of 22:09!!

Our cross country team is ready for the next race at the Capitol View Classic in Frankfort on this Saturday, September 16th!

Max Germann Takes 2nd Place Against North Laurel!

Cross country kicked it off with a strong first meet against North Laurel on Saturday in London, Kentucky! Everybody came out ready to prove it on the course!

Starting with our Boys Varsity, Max Germann finished strong and took home 2nd place.

He discussed the meet saying, “North Laurel was a tough course with lots of tough competition. The team pushed hard for the first meet and left a great mark! I’m proud of everyone!”. Germann ended with a time of 17:51.59, congratulations to Max! All the rest of the participants had amazing times. 

Girls Varsity followed with fast and well paced times as well. Siddalea Gray finished top for our girls in 22nd place and had an amazing time of 25:49.60. Overall, both our girls and boys varsity teams finished in 7th. Way to go with a great start to the season!

Cross Country has another meet this Saturday at Asbury University for the West Jessamine Invitational!
