Quick Recall gets the jump on the start of the season!

Last night, the quick recall members of the academic team took on three different teams in the Lake Cumberland League 3 competition at home.

The first team that the Rebs took on was Russell County. The team absolutely blew it out of the water, coming out on top with a score of 34-2.

Next, Boyle faced off against Berea. Berea was able to hold their own slightly better than Russell, but the Rebels still won by a large margin. The final score was 23-11.

In their final match of the night, the Rebels went up against Rockcastle County. Riding high on the past two wins of the day, the Rebels soared to a comfortable victory over the Rockets, wrapping up the day with a score of 33-9.

This continues the academic team’s winning streak and advances them to a season record of 9-0! The academic team’s results from the Monday composition competition will be released tomorrow, and we wish them the best of luck as the compete tonight in the Content Assessment and Quick Recall competitions.

 

Academic Team wins it all in quick recall!

On Tuesday, the BCHS Academic team went into night 2 of league play, after having won their first three events. The quick recall Rebels took on three more events on Tuesday night, against Russell County, Garrard County, and Richmond Model.

The Rebels went into their first match incredibly strong, defeating Russell County 27-2. Going off of this win, the Rebels were then prepared for the next match against Garrard County. They won a whopping 36-9. While the Rebels were ready to roll into their final match of the day against Richmond Model, the team had to forfeit, resulting in a win for Boyle.

The Rebels brought their record to 6-0 and will compete again today at home in the JV Challenge 1.
